A triple threat

We eat a lot of houmous. A lot. We do buy some but we also make our own which is much, much better. Here are the secret recipes to our top three.

The method is the same for all three, put the ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.

Green Chilli Houmous

1 Can of chickpeas
The juice of 1 whole lemon
2tbsp Olive oil
1tsp Tahini
2-3 Garlic cloves
3 Pickled green chillies

For a fantastic kick blend 2tbsp olive oil and two small Piri-piri chillies then drizzle over the top.

Coriander and Lime Houmous

1 Can of chickpeas
The juice of 1/2 a lemon
The juice of 1/2 a lime
1-2 Garlic cloves
2tbsp Olive oil
1tsp Tahini
A handful of fresh coriander, chopped
Salt & pepper

Frijolemole

1 Can of pinto beans, 220g
1/2 Can of chickpeas
The juice of 1/2 a lime
1tbsp Soured Cream
1tbsp Olive oil
1 Garlic clove
Salt and pepper
